The award covers full tuition fees (£5,006 in 2025/26) and an annual maintenance stipend (£20,780 in 2025/26).
  • Head of School Scholarship for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic students – Open to UK applicants from Black, Asian or other ethnic minority backgrounds, this scholarship is awarded based on academic achievement and is available to students applying for any taught MA in the School of History.
  • School of Media and Communications Access to Research Scholarship – The School of Media and Communications Access to Research Scholarship offers one fully funded PhD award each year for UK students from Black, Asian and other minoritised ethnic backgrounds.
