Why We Exist

Why is this website focused on Black students?

In 2023, Universities UK reported that 45% of Black students experienced racial harassment at UK universities - a stark reminder that community, culture and institutional support aren't small details when choosing where to study. Yet these are exactly the questions mainstream guides rarely answer, leaving Black students to piece together this picture on their own.

StudyKin exists to close that information gap - bringing together ethnicity statistics, diversity initiatives, student societies and scholarships in one place, so Black students can make informed decisions with a clearer picture of what to expect.
