Black Solicitors Network (BSN)

The primary voice of Black solicitors in England and Wales since 1995, committed to equality of access, retention, and promotion. They run careers workshops with leading firms (including BBC, Jones Day, and Hogan Lovells) and host events to connect aspiring lawyers with established professionals.

BSN Grassroots

BSN Grassroots, the student programme of the Black Solicitors Network, helps you build a career in law through mentoring, careers workshops, networking events, and work experience. It supports Black students and those from non-traditional backgrounds by improving access to the profession and building the skills employers look for.

Aspiring Solicitors

Aspiring Solicitors helps you build a career in law through mentoring, coaching, legal work experience, networking events, and application support. Through partnerships with leading law firms, you'll gain real insight into the profession and access opportunities designed for aspiring lawyers from underrepresented backgrounds.

Bridging the Bar

If you're interested in becoming a barrister, Bridging the Bar offers mentoring, work experience, training, and networking opportunities to help you develop your skills and prepare for pupillage. The charity supports aspiring barristers from underrepresented backgrounds by helping you build confidence, gain valuable insight into the profession, and connect with legal professionals.

Birmingham Black Lawyers

Birmingham Black Lawyers is a professional network that supports you throughout your legal career journey. Through mentoring, networking events, careers workshops, and partnerships with universities and law firms, you can gain practical advice, build professional connections, and explore opportunities to help you succeed in the legal profession. BBL is committed to improving representation and supporting Black students and legal professionals at every stage of their careers.
