📣 Uni Essentials
Aspire to Aston and Pathways to the Professions help eligible students explore university life, develop skills and prepare for higher education. Some Pathways students may also be eligible for an Aston contextual offer and the Aston Forward Scholarship.
Contextual offers: Aston’s Aston Ready scheme can reduce undergraduate entry requirements by one or two grades for eligible Home students. Eligibility can include factors such as attending a state school, receiving free school meals or living in an area with lower rates of university participation. Medicine has additional criteria.
💡 StudyKin tip: Check Aston’s eligibility criteria early, you may qualify for a contextual offer even if you don’t realise it.
Black student support: Aston has specifically identified Black student success and progression as priorities within its current Access and Participation Plan, with Black student mentoring and expanded peer-assisted learning among its current activities.
Out The Box UK: A hub equipping young Black creative and entrepreneurial talent with opportunities, connections, workshops and industry experience.
