  • Cowrie Foundation Scholarship – In partnership with the Cowrie Scholarship Foundation, Birkbeck is offering two scholarships for Black African and Caribbean heritage students from socio-economically underrepresented backgrounds starting in September 2026. To be eligible you must be a UK home student with a household income of no more than £35,000, and have firmly accepted a full-time undergraduate place at Birkbeck’s Bloomsbury campus.
  • The Access to Postgraduate Study Scholarship – Funded by Birkbeck alumni, this scholarship supports master’s students facing barriers to higher education. To be eligible you must have Home fee status, a household income below £42,875, and be starting a master’s at Birkbeck in 2026/27 without an existing level 7 qualification. Priority is given to disabled students, care leavers, single parents, carers, those with refugee status, and Black or mixed Black heritage students.
  • The Aziz Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship – Birkbeck is a partner of the Aziz Foundation, which offers full tuition fee scholarships for British Muslims studying at master’s level. Scholarships are available for students with career aspirations in media and journalism, technology, sustainability, law, policy, or creative content, studying at Birkbeck’s Bloomsbury campus.
